Come and enjoy all that the back country waters have to offer here in Crystal River with U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain Colin Guy! Crystal River is known for its incredible fishery, and crystal clear waters that are home to a wide variety of wildlife. Captain Colin specializes in inshore flats and back country creek fishing and does all to make sure that you and friends or family have a memorable day on our waterways. While on a trip, target species include Redfish, and Spotted Sea Trout. These are Captain Colin’s specialties while fishing inshore in Crystal River. Other species may include Snook, Gulf Flouder, Spanish Mackerel, Sea Bass, Mangrove Snapper, sharks, tripletail, and more!
All of our boats are fully equipped with United States Coast Guard approved safety gear.
Scalloping charters with Captain Colin
Enjoy scallop trips in the shallow gulf waters of Crystal River. Masks, snorkels, and scallop bags are provided along with a cooler with ice for your snacks and drinks. For a scalloping trip, our boat can accommodate up to 6 people. Scallop season begins July 10, 2018 and runs into September of 2018 (these dates vary slightly every year.)
Sight seeing tours
Fishing not for you? Leave the poles at home and enjoy and customize your sight seeing adventure! Stop at an island for lunch, or stay on the move checking out our back waters and the wildlife that calls it home. It is not uncommon to see a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins at play, or a few Sea Turtles out and about. We also have a wide variety of birdlife here including Bald Eagles, Osprey, multiple types of Heron, Seagulls, and Pelicans. We also check out a few Indian Mounds and man made islands on our journey! A cooler with ice for your drinks and snacks is provided.
Charter Pricing:
- Half day fishing trip: $300
- Full day fishing trip: $400
These rates are for 1-2 anglers, for each additional person over 2 anglers, add $50
(up to 4 anglers) - Scallop trip: $75 per person, minimum price of $300 or 4 or more people to book a trip
- Sight seeing trip: $250 for up to 4 passengers
